Rainoil Gas Commissions 10 New LPG Outlets in 2025

Rainoil Gas Limited, a leading integrated gas company, has expanded its retail presence across Nigeria with the launch of 10 new Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) retail outlets in the first half of 2025. This development aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance nationwide access to clean, safe, and affordable cooking solutions.

The new additions comprise six (6) 30MT LPG Plants and four (4) %MT Add-on Skids, strategically located across the South-West, South-South, and North-Central regions.

The newly commissioned facilities are located at Ado-Ekiti, Osogbo, Ore, Agbor, Calabar, Ikom, Egba, Benin Bypass, Sakponba and Irrua.

The expansion marks another step in Rainoil’s drive to deepen LPG infrastructure to meet increasing consumer demand in the country. The expanded network will provide safe and convenient access to cooking gas. Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Emmanuel Omuojine, Managing Director of Rainoil Gas, said “Accessible, reliable and affordable energy is essential for economic development. These new LPG sites are a reflection of our commitment to bridging the existing infrastructure gap, particularly relating to last-mile delivery of cooking gas. We are fully aligned with the Governement’s agenda of ensuring universal access to clean cooking energy solutions in Nigeria by 2030, while improving public health by reducing exposure to harmful smoke, protecting the environment through reduced deforestation and desertification, and fostering economic growth via job creation and lower household fuel costs.”

Industry experts have welcomed the rollout, noting its alignment with the Government’s energy policy priorities, particularly the federal government’s promotion of gas as a key transitional fuel.
Rainoil Gas has confirmed that more LPG locations are expected to come onstream
